Loss of Interest In; Beverly Hillbillies DVDs
The Beverly Hillbillies TV sitcom aired 1962-1971 on CBS in America and was cancelled as part of the rural purge. Since then, DVD commercial releases have been made for S1-5 as remastered, full-length episodes. No more will be made.
The remaining episodes S6-9 (274 episodes 1962-1971) are only available as VHS quality overexposed colored film. Some of these episodes were nothing much to write home about, but still are available and potentially for a DVD.
As of writing, its been 6 years since a DVD release, and although a 2027 release of S6/7 is a popular rumour, I doubt after 60 (almost 70) years The Beverly Hillbillies will be released. - DVDs are almost defunct and only Max Baer Jr. survives at 86 (may die soon).
